HP Z620 with single Xeon E5-1620. This computer can be fitted with two cpu's, but you need a riser board. That is expensive. So for the moment it stays a single cpu computer. An interesting prospect is trying to update the microcode, then it should be possible to use the V2 xeon.

Oddity: The graphics card power connectorts, labelled G1 and G2, are not easy to find for new users. The sit like connected, at the front. But is only plastic holes they are connected to, it looks like they are in use. While G1 and G2 are really only parked in the empty holes. Another power oddity is that G1 and G2 have only 5 connected pins . but people have reported it works anyway.

The E5-1620 is a 4-core HT, 3.6 GHz, so it runs quite fast. The Z620 can have two cpus, but then I need a riser board with air shroud, and those seem to cost like 200 dollars. No need for that, at the moment.
