Not that I'm aware of. We considered it a so easy task that we didn't
do much about it. The question is just whether to patch the existing,
or write something from scratch.

Ok. I started to hack on xdm to make it do more stuff (like handling
the case of expiring passwords), but never quite finished. I might
pick up that thread sometime.
