Interoperability with MIT krb
Hi,
when trying to connect with Heimdal (0.4e) ftp client to MIT ftpd (krb5-1.2.2)
I get:
durin$ ftp durin
Connected to durin.ics.muni.cz.
220 durin FTP server (Version 5.60) ready.
Trying GSSAPI...
421 Service not available, remote server has closed connection
Error: expected ADAT in reply. got: 334 Using authentication type GSSAPI;
ADAT must follow
*** Using plaintext user and password ***
MIT ftp client against Heimdal ftpd daemon works well. However, there seems
to some protocol incompatibilty between MIT and Heimdal.
Likewise, I am not able to connect Heimdal rsh client to MIT kshd. The
daemon complies with an error:
kshd[7261]: Session subkey not allowed in old kcmd protocol
Do you have any advice how to fix it?
