Heimdal KDC & change password for windows 2000 client

Hello,

is it true that Heimdal change password protocol
implementation is not compatible with windows'
implementation, as in a user who uses win2k machine
(which authenticates to Heimdal KDC) can't change
his/her password using ctrl-alt-del or when the
current password is expired ?

I've tried changing the password using ctrl-alt-del
and the following error message is logged:
AS-REQ lara@ADIANTO.COM from IPv4:xxx.xxx.xxx.xx for
kadmin/changepw@ADIANTO.COM
No PA-ENC-TIMESTAMP -- lara@ADIANTO.COM
