I'm trying to bootstrap Heimdal on a debian testing system (or indeed, anything other that SuSE 9 or Fedora Core 3). These are the errors I get: $ ./autogen.sh lib/hdb/Makefile.am:23: variable `LIB_ldopen' not defined lib/hdb/Makefile.am:23: variable `LIB_ldopen' not defined lib/otp/Makefile.am: otptest_OBJECTS should not be defined lib/roken/Makefile.am:104: @LTLIBOBJS@ seen but never set in `configure.in' lib/roken/Makefile.am: snprintf_test_OBJECTS should not be defined lib/roken/Makefile.am:159: invalid variable `nodist_include_HEADERS' lib/roken/Makefile.am:15: invalid unused variable name: `nodist_make_roken_SOURCES' kadmin/Makefile.am:44: variable `version4_c' not defined configure.in:42: warning: AC_PROG_LEX invoked multiple times autoconf/programs.m4:438: AC_DECL_YYTEXT is expanded from... aclocal.m4:187: AM_PROG_LEX is expanded from... configure.in:42: the top level configure.in:42: warning: AC_PROG_LEX invoked multiple times autoconf/programs.m4:438: AC_DECL_YYTEXT is expanded from... aclocal.m4:187: AM_PROG_LEX is expanded from... configure.in:42: the top level configure.in:42: warning: AC_PROG_LEX invoked multiple times autoconf/programs.m4:438: AC_DECL_YYTEXT is expanded from... aclocal.m4:187: AM_PROG_LEX is expanded from... configure.in:42: the top level lib/hdb/Makefile.am:23: variable `LIB_ldopen' not defined lib/hdb/Makefile.am:23: variable `LIB_ldopen' not defined lib/otp/Makefile.am: otptest_OBJECTS should not be defined lib/roken/Makefile.am:104: @LTLIBOBJS@ seen but never set in `configure.in' lib/roken/Makefile.am: snprintf_test_OBJECTS should not be defined lib/roken/Makefile.am:159: invalid variable `nodist_include_HEADERS' lib/roken/Makefile.am:15: invalid unused variable name: `nodist_make_roken_SOURCES' kadmin/Makefile.am:44: variable `version4_c' not defined autoreconf: automake failed with exit status: 1 This is all in an effort to have the Samba build farm assess the portability of Heimdal on an automated basis. From there, I am hoping to make informed decisions on how to proceed with Samba4's Kerberos dependencies.
