solution to Re: heimdal 0.6.4 ftpd crash
Hi,
it seems I have overcome the problems with ftpd on debian 3.1rc3. The
problem is definitely connected to debian's /usr/include/glob.h file from
libc6-dev package. If I rename it for the configure+compile time, there
are no more crashes.
The 425 error message in ftp client originated from my poor knowledge how
ftpd works. It was present only in debigging mode when ftpd does not fork
childs for active transfer mode requests (passive mode works fine even in
debug mode).
I am attaching debian's glob.h file for you if you would like to give more
testing at the configure-time for presence of unsuitable header files.
Thank you for the previous help.
David
P.S.: The same counts for current heimdal snapshot.
