Heimdal telnet in Cygwin

Hello!
I try to compile the latest heimdal (0.7.1) under Cygwin. Almost all was 
fine (later I even succeded to link some other programs with heimdal), 
only telnet did not work. I can connect ftp servers and execute rsh. 
Telnet fails even before it accesses kerberos cache (I have checked that 
no requests have been sent to KDC) and produces an error message 
"Authentication failed".
The telnet from binary heimdal tarball (its version 0.7pre) nonetheless 
works OK. What is the problem? May be I have messed something with 
configure options?
