I'm working on a 1.0 upgrade.  Thanks for the note, but I'd rather  
keep working on that than do a backport.  The bureaucratic overhead  
is noticeable in both cases, and Open Directory integration is a  
higher priority in any case.

Just trying to give you what info I can about problems I see.
