ipropd-master error message

Someone here at the University of Manchester is running a heimdal
realm with iprop running, compiled from version 1.0.1.  The servers
seem to communicate with each other, since the slaves-stats file
lists all of the slaves with a current time, but the log on the
master server has a log of messages of the form

    ipropd-master[PID]: slave iprop/[hostname]@REALM missing, sending AYT

about six times a second, but only once every two or three minutes.

Has anyone else seen this, and is there any way to avoid it?  The
logs do get rather big...
