Confirmed, it works. The old patch by Bryan Jacobs still does the trick,
nothing else is needed apart of modifying configure.ac of nfs-utils and
configure.in of librpcsecgss. (So finally I do patch configure.in and
configure.ac files, but not those of Heimdal.) I've reported all of that
at https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=185899
Would some consensus with the developers of other kerberos and gssapi
implementations on common pkg-config file names be possible? Something
like kerberos.pc or krb5.pc and gssapi.pc could work better for kerberos
and/or gssapi dependant packages than having to fork tests for
libgssglue and heimdal-gssapi.
