Chamonix (1037m) as seen from Aiguille du Midi (3842m)

In groups of six, the skiers are ant-marched along the edge at the Aiguille du Midi until the ground is level enough to put on skis.

The rope connected to the safety belt around the waist is a must.

We are impressed by the ice formations that we just have passed. The ride past these has been a bumpy one. A lot of people have taken the passage before and created a lot speed bumps on the way.
