Making my own keys

Hello, i'm making my own keys for a php script that use ldap as backend.

I'm trying to make des passwords for this, for example:

iv: MCRYPT_RAND
key: test
text to encrypt: kerberos

A simple test using mcrypt to get DES:
kadmin -l add --keys=f1bf456039cf7ea5 test
kinit test
test@SOLARIA's Password:
kinit: Password incorrect

I need somebody that helpme in a simple creation of the des password...

A little asn1 krb5Key library to encode the DES password rule well, but i need the DES 
password :(.
